BASS
Overview
The BASS code is a high-accuracy parallel computational aeroacoustics code which solves the Euler and Navier-Stokes equations to directly predict unsteady flow, noise generation, and noise propagation. The BASS code, which accounts for even more of the unsteady flow physics than Linflux, has been validated for fan tone noise prediction. Currently, BASS is being extended to predict fan broadband noise.
